1980s does 1940s in this pinwheel and eye inspired cluster setting with amazing finger coverage.
the diamonds are neither particularly white or particularly sparkly, but this ring packs a big punch and big sparkle nonetheless, aided by faint white gold overlay behind the stones.
this ring feels incredibly comfortable on the finger because of the vented space under the setting that lets your finger breathe.
the band has an elegant tapered pipe-cut shape, which helps to prevent the ring from spinning on your finger and the setting resting between fingers

all of the diamonds are original to the setting and one has a scratch along its table. it's visible with a very careful eye and perfect lighting or easily with magnification. this stone could easily be swapped out at a later date if it bothers you.
this ring's setting was cast and there are a few casting defects throughout the band, which look like voids near the 14k stamp. these are original quirks and it's best not the mess with them unless you want to undertake a partial re-banding.
This is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
